REMScout ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information We Collect

REMScout collects minimal data necessary to provide the service:

• Location data: Used to show nearby listings and guide your tour. Location is processed on-device and never stored on our servers.
• Apple ID (Sign in with Apple): We receive a unique anonymous identifier from Apple. We do not receive your email address unless you choose to share it.
• App preferences: Your neighborhood selection, saved listings, and filter settings are stored locally on your device.
• Subscription status: Managed entirely by Apple via StoreKit. We do not handle or store payment information.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not sell your data to real estate agents, brokers, or any third parties.
• We do not track your searches or browsing behavior for advertising purposes.
• We do not store your location history on our servers.

Third-Party Services

• Rentcast: Listing data is fetched from Rentcast's API. Requests include your selected neighborhood coordinates. See Rentcast's Privacy Policy.
• Apple: Sign in with Apple and StoreKit are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data Retention

Your preferences and saved listings are stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. We do not maintain user accounts or server-side profiles.

Children's Privacy

REMScout is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes within the app.
